Japanese Culture Club
About:
The Japanese Culture Club is focused on enjoying and learning more about Japan’s diverse culture. As many know, Huron is home to one of Ontario’s best Japanese departments and has students from around the world with an interest in Japanese language, culture, and art. However there are students who like Japan’s culture but have no interest in the language. This is where the JCC offers something unique. We intend to bring some of Japan’s culture to Huron through various cultural activities, events, and discussions. Furthermore, no Japanese speaking ability is required as all of our events and social media is in English! This is the perfect place to explore Japan’s culture without having to worry about a language barrier.
