Volunteer YA!

About:

Volunteer YA! is a volunteer club at Huron University College which encourages volunteering to improve and help our local London community. We organize events to fundraise for non-profit organizations. Our events include volunteering at the First Baptist Church (on Richmond street) on Thursday’s for community meals where we help set up, serve and clean-up. This opportunity helps us to provide food for those who are underprivileged. This year, we partnered with an NGO called ‘Good Neighbours Canada’ to help undeveloped regions, concentrating on children’s rights with a focus on clean drinking water, education and access to menstrual pads.
